LGBTIQ DFV Inclusivity Training

Want to know more about lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer people, our relationships and abuse in our communities? Sign up for the LGBTIQ Inclusivity Training For Professionals Working with Clients Experiencing Domestic And Family Violence (DFV) by clicking HERE.

This two day training is designed to help service providers break down preconceptions about gender, sexuality and LGBTIQ people and their experiences. Through understanding the everyday lived experiences of LGBTIQ people, professionals can better empathise with clients, meaningfully engage them and help their clients overcome barriers to accessing services. This training will integrate the latest research in the area of domestic and family violence and sexual assault in LGBTIQ relationships.

This training is suitable for professionals in the DFV sector and other related sectors (such as homelessness and mental health), private practitioners, GP’s and professionals in the legal sector and corrections.
