Monash University – Study to understand experiences in forced marriages

Monash University is looking for females between the ages of 16 and 30 years old to understand experiences within forced marriages.

This research aims to develop an understanding about young women’s experiences of forced marriage: looking specifically at the context in which it occurs; the strategies young women use to navigate their own situation; and the implications for law and policy. It is research focused on women’s voices and experiences—which is critical for reflecting on current  responses; and, to contribute unique and significant evidence toward future responses and interventions.

Interviews will take one hour, and can be conducted in person or via phone or video. You will receive a $30 gift card in recognition of your time.
