National Domestic Violence Remembrance Day Event – Wednesday 1 May 11am-12pm

Management and staff at Moving Forward invite you to join them  on Wednesday 1st May, 11am – 12pm at Parliament House, 6 Macquarie Street Sydney National Domestic Violence Remembrance Day Event A symbolic event to acknowledge the victims of Domestic and Family Violence

 The community is invited to this event to quietly reflect, acknowledge and honour the women, children and men who have been killed due to DFV. We will lay roses along the fence line – red for women, white for children and yellow for men. Roses will be available for purchase on the day or bring your own.

This is designed to facilitate community expression of our grief and a reminder that with appropriate interventions, education and specialist domestic and family violence support services future deaths may be prevented.
